Beetle Plastics focuses on continuous improvement.
Recently Beetle Plastics has focused on several Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) projects.
One project has been to reorganize our computer network to optimize access and navigation.
Another project has been to weld a steel skin onto the 54” pipe mandrel. This new steel skin on the outside of the mandrel will help improve the quality of the fiberglass pipe we produce.
A third project adds fiberglass ductwork from an air compressor back into the shop area. The air compressor emits a lot heat. The goal is to capture this heat and direct it back into the shop area, helping to reduce the heating bill during the winter months.
Another project is building a steel platform along the 60’ winder for enhanced safety and fire safety
All the employees at Beetle Plastics take pride in our efforts in the Continuous Improvement Process. As employee owners we are always on the lookout for ways to reduce waste and increase productivity.
